Daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has claimed that her party will once again come out victorious in the 2018 general elections.

Addressing a social media workers' convention here, she lamented that the recent decision by the Supreme Court disqualifying Nawaz Sharif as the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ridiculed the people's vote.

Deploring the ongoing graft proceedings against the family members, she solicited support from the masses and said the justice to her father would be done if they continue extending their support to Sharif-led PML-N.

Latif Khosa, an eminent lawyer said on Saturday that Ishaq Dar and the two sons of Nawaz Sharif would be sentenced in absentia. During her speech, Maryam said that imposing one's will on the people amounts to dictatorship.

Preparations have been completed to welcome the former first daughter.

None has proved corruption, not even worth Rs 5 against Nawaz Sharif so far in his political career.

Maryam was earlier presented with a gold crown weighing 20 tolas by Sargodha Mayor Malik Aslam Naveed, as a gift from the people of Sargodha.
