Here's how you can go back to the older version of Snapchat

With most apps, if you opt for the upgrade you're stuck with the new version until the developer puts out something new, but there is a way around this recent upgrade.

In theory, if you never force quit the app, you'll have the old app forever. The brand new Snapchat has algorithm-powered interface.

In November past year, Snap announced that it was planning to introduce a massive Snapchat redesign to make the app easier to use. We'll update this story if any workarounds pop up.

No word on whether there's any way to revert back to the old Snapchat on Android (even if it's temporary). Mashable confirmed that the process worked on an iPhone X.

After you've completed all the steps, you should have the old Snapchat again.

Also, as far as we can tell, this method is only working for iOS.

Is It A Good Idea To Reverse The Snapchat Update?

Thankfully, one Twitter user has found a workaround that restores the previous version of Snapchat. Recently, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel announced plans to redesign Snapchat in order to make it easier to use and those announcement are being rolled out but there is huge outpouring of hatred for the new look.

You could also lose your Memories if you reinstall Snapchat.

However, beware. There is one major flaw in this method: it is not permanent. The best option is to make yourself familiar with new Snapchat but if you really feel that you can't live without old design.
