Previous rumours suggested that the Xiaomi is looking forward to announcing a range of smartphones both budget and flagship at MWC 2018. Then a second render popped online via Slashleaks suggesting the smartphone will be truly bezel-less and the display will account for nearly 100 percent of the front of the device.

It will come with glass back to support wireless charging and is expected to be priced at around CNY 2,699 around ₹26,600.

A Chinese news platform Weibo claims that the company is working on Mi Mix 2S and might launch it even before the MWC 2018 that will kick-start from February 26th in Barcelona. Xiaomi is also expected to launch Mi 7, a successor to Mi 6.

Rumours of Xiaomi's flagship smartphone - the Mi Mix 2S have started flowing and the latest report suggests that the phone might be launched before the MWC 2018 event. This could be Xiaomi's strategy to skip major announcements at MWC obviously because its rivals like LG, HTC and Huawei are prepping up to launch their flagship devices - G7, U12, and P11 respectively. If Snapdragon 845 processor is infused then we have to wait until March because of the possible clash with the Samsung Galaxy S9 series launch.

The rear of the phone houses a single camera lens, a fingerprint sensor, and a ceramic body. Along with the Mi 7 Xiaomi was also expected to launch its Surge S2 processor and the Mi 6X smartphone. There are no more details available about the phone as of now. As you can see from the image below, the bezels on this device are more reduced compared to the Mi Mix 2. But, all that we know is that the phone could go official in the next couple of months. While the tipster didn't reveal much information of the device, GizmoChina reports that the tipster asked the readers to guess which of the devices will be the first to feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 845 mobile chipset. Meanwhile, another report that leaked last week suggests that the smartphone could come at a starting price of around $475.
