At Himayathnagar man hurls shoe at Tollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannah was in the city for the opening of Malabar gold shop in Himayat Nagar of Hyderabad when the incident took place. The incident happened at Himayatnagar but luckily, Tamannaah escaped from the attack and the shoe didn't hit the actress.

A 31-year-old man Karimullah was detained by the Hyderabad police for hurling a shoe at Tamannaah Bhatia, during the inaugural function, police said.

"The footwear missed its target and hit an employee of the jewelery store", the officer said.

According to reports, the arrested man was identified himself as Khareemulla from Musheerabad, who called himself a "die-hard" fan of the actress. The slipper missed Tamannaah but brushed past her assistant.

"Karimullah, a BTech graduate, was immediately detained and during questioning revealed that he was apparently frustrated over the roles played by the actress in her recent movies", the inspector said. The police have arrested the miscreant and filed a case.

The footwear hit Fayad, the tour in-charge, who registered a complaint with Narayanguda police. She has also acted in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.

A successful actress in southern cinema, Tamannaah rose to fame following her role in blockbuster "Bahubali" series.
