Chelsea are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Algeria worldwide Islam Slimani.

Chelsea have approached Leicester City about signing Algeria global striker Islam Slimani, on loan.

Arsenal and Liverpool face disappointment in their attempts to sign Monaco winger Thomas Lemar because the 22-year-old wants to join Barcelona.

Since his arrival from Sporting CP, Slimani has scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 46 games for Leicester City, including five goals and two assists in 17 games in all competitions this season.

His record for Algeria is also impressive.

While Morata has scored just twice in his last nine games, Dzeko has surprisingly scored the same number of goals in his last 16 matches and is enduring his own sticky spell of form.

The Leicester City manager does not see him in his plans and would be open to letting him leave.

The Sunday Times reports that Slimani is the latest name to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Leicester City boss Puel has admitted that his side have many strikers, opening the door for a possible move for Slimani.

The Premier League Champions, Chelsea who are struggling to bolster its attack force have reportedly agreed with the AS Roma on a fee to sign the Bosnian striker, Eden Dzeko to Stamford Bridge.
