Freeman on winning SAG lifetime achievement award

After 54 years in front of the camera, beloved actor Morgan Freeman has taken one of the entertainment industry's highest honors.

Rita, who was presented with this award five years ago by Freeman, called the actor a "national treasure". This is beyond honour, this is a place in history.

On a more serious note, Moreno said Freeman was more than just an actor, narrator, producer and humanitarian.

In a world - and particularly an industry - that is under such close scrutiny for its gender balance at the moment, Morgan Freeman lent his support to the "Time's Up" movement in a somewhat unusual manner at the SAG Awards last night.
