New PlayStation Nike shoes will be launching in February, which boast a design based off the PS4's famous DualShock controller.

No word on a release date, but you can expect more details to come very soon. Logos on the tongues actually light up and the starry print associated with the sneaker will be available as a theme for the Playstation 4 using a code from the shoe.

These are the first National Basketball Association shoes to light up, per ESPN.

"I'm thrilled for the world to see the next step of the PG evolution", George said in a video the Thunder and Nike put out showing off the shoe on Saturday.

"I just had a knack for video games", George explains.

"This collaboration has been a long time coming".

If you are a gamer, then your thought process may be similar to mine and know that on February 10th you will purchasing these awesome looking PS4 kicks. Ask me what my favorite PlayStation memory is and I'll tell you it's when my dad got me a PS2 for Christmas.

"That was the next big thing".

"As a kid, I'd make sketches of what I wanted my Nike shoes to look like because it's something I've always wanted to be a part of". Nike teamed up with Sony to create this special Playstation-inspired colorway as a tribute to Paul's love for gaming.

Designed by Nike designer Tony Hardman, the PG2 comes after the success of George's first model, the Nike PG1.
