Major carmakers stake $90 billion on electric vehicles

Ford is looking to accelerate its push into the electric vehicle market as it struggles to keep up with rivals´ efforts.

One of the new variations will be the LT Trailboss aimed at off-roaders. "Two, trucks sell for a very high average price, pickup trucks averaging about $47,000 compare that to about $31,000 for all cars in general", Cooley said. The faded green auto got a huge cheer when it rumbled onto the stage.
