Shortly after that The Hollywood Reporter claimed 20th Century Fox had made a decision to change the release dates for Deadpool 2, The New Mutants, and Gambit, Ryan Reynolds tweeted that Deadpool 2 indeed has been moved forward to May 18.

The New Mutants has been delayed by almost a year. The only mutant movie that is not getting moved is the main series' next installment: "X-Men: Dark Phoenix", which is sticking to its November 2, 2018 release date.

Following the announcement of the reschedule, Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to share a new photo from the set that features Deadpool suited up and ready to go with his signature swords that pay homage Golden Girls star Bea Arthur.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the release date for the Deadpool sequel has been moved up to May 18 - two weeks earlier than it's original June 1 date.

Fox also announced that another X-Men movie New Mutants has been moved back by 10 months from April 13, 2018 to February 22, 2019. And if you've been looking forward to Gambit, you'll now have to wait until June 7th, 2019 to see it and not February 14th, 2019.

As of now the only movie on the X-Men docket that hasn't been changed is "X-Men: Dark Phoenix", which is still scheduled for release on November 2...at least for now!
