Recently, a press conference, Saif opened up about the same and said, "Ramesh Taurani came to me and said that he is making a different film with a different story".

"I didn't feel a connection myself with the part I was offered. So, I made a decision to do something else", Koimoi reports Khan expressing. I was offered a part but Salman Khan is the best thing to happen to anybody.

Shah Rukh Khan may be one of the biggest superstars in the country with worldwide stardom, but that has not stopped him from fulfilling his daddy duties. Yesterday, Shashi Kapoor's son Karan Kapoor shared the candid of the cute family where Saif and Kareena are seen looking lovingly at Taimur while he is busy opening his gifts.

Saif Ali Khan's next Kaalakaandi has been watched by the B-Town celebs and they are all praises for the film.

Aamir took to Twitter to laud the performaces and called it "one of the funniest films".

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Akshat Verma's directorial Kaalakaandi which is one of the first releases of the year. Haven't laughed this since I read the script of Delhi Belly. For a first-time director, Akshat Verma (the writer of Delhi Belly, who has penned and helmed Kaalakaandi) clearly knows his mind. Absolutely loved all the performances. "Proud of you. Don't miss this one guys, it releases tomorrow".

"Kaalakaandi", produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Flying Unicorn, hits screens today.
