The Reds confirmed previous year that they had successfully agreed a £48m deal to sign Keita on July 1, 2018, but the recent sale of Philippe Coutinho has forced the Reds to attempt to bring the transfer forward.

Liverpool have succeeded in their bid to push forward the signing of Naby Keita, according to the Express.

The Guinean midfielder is set to join the Premier League club in July but there is a hope that a deal can be reached that would lead to Keita's early exit.

However, has been given encouragement that RB Leipzig could be willing to let their man go earlier after his form has suffered since the summer.

Liverpool are set to welcome RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita on Sunday.

This was despite public claims from Leipzig that they would not allow Keita to leave this month.

With Philippe Coutinho gone and rumours that Liverpool were not planning to bring in a new goalkeeper in January, Reds fans needed a pick-me-up badly.

Eagle-eyes fans spotted that Keita has registered a company named "NK8 LIMITED" on the Companies House website.

James Pearce writes that Keita is "desperate" to move to Liverpool and help plug the gap left by Coutinho's mega-money move to Barcelona.

It was confirmed as being a legitimate company on Twitter by reputable German football expert Raphael Honigstein. "When we had this conversation around Coutinho, I said there was nothing to say about it". In the summer he'll be here, that's what I know as well.
