"Why is a man hosting?"

Congratulations to James Franco, and good luck for the rest of award's season. "Said too much. Nite love ya #goldenglobes", according to screenshots captured by The Cut.

Following Sheedy's tweets, two young women came forward with personal stories involving Franco.

Sheedy worked with Franco in the 2014 off-Broadway production of The Long Shrift.

"Ok wait. Bye. Christian Slater and James Franco at a table [at the] Golden Globes #MeToo".

James admitted in the winners' room backstage that he hadn't originally planned on bringing Tommy on stage if he won. "Please never ask me why I left the film/tv business".

Watch Iain Lee talk about what really went down on I'm A Celebrity, the ups and downs of his career, and his challenges with mental health only on Unfiltered with James O'Brien.

The tweets have apparently since been deleted from Sheedy's account.

So just what would Wiseau have said, given his moment in the spotlight? Many pointed back to the time Franco messaged a 17-year-old on Instagram and tried to get them a hotel room back in 2014. But it was Mr. Wiseau who stole the show.

Since she posted her tweets, Paley has garnered support from her followers on Twitter, but sadly some of them have also called her out, because of the timing of her tweets.

This is not the first time Franco has been accused of predatory behaviour. She added, "I 100% did not feel like I had a choice to say no", calling out the 39-year-old actor/director for allegedly failing to give actresses speaking roles unless the part involved nudity.

Other women used social media to exploit the actor as well, including actress Sarah Tither-Kaplan, who claimed Franco had exposed himself to her before.

"The idea was to keep the insanity, but push it as far over the top as I can and preserve the fact that everybody there knows I'm making a comedy. except one person."
