In terms of internal hardware, the U11 EYEs features a Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 3960mAh battery, USB-C and IP67 dust and water resistance. It could be unveiled as soon as January 15, the date of HTC's next press event, and it'll come in red, black, and blue colors. Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has now teased the launch of its next smartphone in China. HTC is expanding its Edge Sense technology to this budget phone as well, where users will be able to trigger pre-set actions via a simple squeeze of the phone. The device is said to sport a single camera at the rear end along with a circular fingerprint sensor.

With the HTC U11 EYEs marketed as a mid-range smartphone - and with prices to match - the company may be able to carve out a significant piece of sales for themselves.

HTC has announced that its next smartphone, the HTC U11 EYEs, will launch next week on January 15, but didn't give out any information on its specs. While the company is expected to come out with the U12 flagship in the first half of 2018, it was reported that HTC will kick off the new year by launching a mid-range smartphone that will join its U11 lineup. There's no word yet if HTC plans on selling the device in other regions. As a result, the top and bottom front bezels are thinner, while the 6-inch 2160 x 1080 Super LCD3 display notably features rounded corners.

Although @evleaks hasn't mentioned anything about the imaging capabilities of the phone, it is said to be housing a dual selfie camera (12MP + 12MP).

Back in December 2017, it was leaked that the upcoming device in the HTC Harmony series will be launched as HTC U11 EYEs instead.

HTC is expected to unveil the U11 EYEs next week, January 15th. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
