Dark Souls Remaster has been rumored in the past but most of it has been for the Nintendo Switch.

Also, according to a Twitter image (shown below), a Japanese store would have listed the pre-order of Dark Souls Remastered on PlayStation 4 for May 24. Dark Souls Remastered includes the main game plus the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. If you want all the info on Dark Souls Remastered, then we've got it.

The big one, however, is Dark Souls Remastered. Some Dark Souls is better than no Dark Souls, though, so we're sure people will be happy with this announcement even if we aren't sure if we'll ever see the rest of the series on the Switch.

Other third-party publishers like Rockstar Games also took notice of the platform and released their 2011 cult classic L.A. Noire on the platform and 2015's smash indie hit Rocket League also came to the platform previous year with cross-play support. And this time the game adds the first story mode since the Mario Tennis game on Game Boy Advance, offering a new flavor of tennis gameplay, with a variety of missions and boss battles. Lordran and its cadre of nightmarish monsters will no doubt look even more haunting and treacherous with all of that lovely extra detail. The remastered version of the original Dark Souls and follow-up to Demon's Souls will feature "stunning" high-definition visuals and support for even higher resolution on 4K consoles.
