Tiger Zinda Hai set to be Salman's highest grosser?

Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai has become a huge hit at the box office.

Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai earned Rs7.50 crore, approximately, on its second Tuesday, 2 January, as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com, which is nearly half of what it earned the previous day, 1 January - Rs 18 crore, approximately. Set to cross his highest grossing films "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (Rs. 320 crore-plus) and "Sultan" (Rs. 300 crore-plus), overseas, it has grossed over Rs. 100 crore. The worldwide collection of Salman Khan's movie has already crossed Rs 400 crore.

For the uninitiated, Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel of Ek Tha Tiger and after five years, ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif re-united for this movie. Not just Salman, even Katrina has pulled off some breathtaking stunts and jaw-dropping action sequences.

Highest lifetime domestic grosser in India: Baahubali 2's Hindi dubbed version earned Rs 510 crore at the box office, an ambitious target for the Salman - Katrina actioner.

Tiger Zinda Hai has received positive reviews both from critics and audiences.

With the kind of drop, the film has witnessed on Tuesday, it is expected to enter 300 crore club by the end by coming Monday.

Tiger Zinda Hai is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar which was released on 22 December 2017.

The movie revolves around a plot that RAW agent Avinash "Tiger" Singh Rathore and Pakistani spy Zoya reunite after eight years to rescue captured nurses by the IS stars Khan and Kaif in leading roles.
