Jennifer Lopez Will Pull Double Duty as 'Will & Grace' Guest Star

Jennifer Lopez attends the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City.

And of course JLo couldn't appear without performing one of her songs...

It was revealed then that the "On the Floor" singer grew up in the Bronx with Karen's now dearly departed maid Rosario (Shelley Morrison). Jack (Sean Hayes) completed her stage by filling in as her backup dancer.

The guest spot showcased Lopez's comedic timing and her ease with self-deprivation. Remember how she insisted that everyone should wear her new Glow fragrance and her branded jeans? During its original run, she played herself and performed at Karen (Megan Mullally) and Lyle Finster's (John Cleese) wedding. We have no idea, but we have to wait to see the hysterical way in which Will & Grace's co-creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan bring the street-wise cop into their decidedly lighter world.

According to Vanity Fair, the 48-year-old superstar is once again making a guest appearance in the romantic comedy. Other guest stars so far have included Harry Connick Jr., Nick Offerman, Minnie Driver, Leslie Jordan, Jane Lynch, and Bobby Cannavale.

While we wait for the pop star's return to the small screen, Will & Grace-which has already been renewed for another 13-episode season-has more familiar faces stopping by.

E! And NBC are both part of NBC Universal family. More details about how Jennifer's double roles will work on the NBC series have yet to be disclosed.
