One of the Xiaomi officials confirmed to us that the first phase of the rollout was completed and the company will be starting the second phase of rollout very soon.

To recall, HTC confirmed in August previous year that Android Oreo update will be available for its smartphones including HTC U11, HTC U Ultra and HTC 10.

Back in August, HTC promised that Oreo would come to the U11, U Ultra, and 10. The Android 8.0 Oreo OTA is now rolling out to this 2016 flagship, and if you're on the impatient side, you can download the RUU instead. One of the significant bugs that surfaced following the Android 8.0 Oreo update was the unresponsiveness of the dialer app. Other than that, the update is expected to include the latest Android security patch as well. The update brought new features like notification dots, notification channels, Picture-in-Picture mode Autofill Framework, Smart text selection, new emojis and more. It is essential for you to capture a backup of your data before proceeding to install the update. The total capacity of the update is around 1.8GB and hence you should provide adequate space.

Xiaomi brought its first Android One powered handset, the Xiaomi Mi A1 to India past year. As for the processor, the device makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor teamed up with 4GB RAM and either 32GB or 6GB default storage space. To recap on the specs, the smartphone has a 5.2-inch QHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

In the camera department, the HTC 10 bears a 12MP primary camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera enabled with autofocus and OIS.
