A LUCKY EuroMillions victor has scooped a huge £34 million jackpot.

The prize is still yet to be claimed.

The winning numbers were 4, 8, 22, 23, and 48.

The winning ticket was sold in the Dublin region last Friday.

"We are still processing this fantastic win but we are delighted to confirm the ticket was a quick pick and was purchased in the Dublin region".

It is the 12th time the Euromillions jackpot has been won in Ireland - and the third jackpot in 2017.

The hunt is still on for the victor of the €39m EuroMillions Jackpot, and it has now been revealed that the lucky fecker bought their ticket in Dublin.

National Lottery spokeswoman Miriam Donohoe said: "We would love to hear from them".

"We have verified it is a winning ticket - arrangements are being made for the victor to meet with staff at Lotto headquarters in Dublin", a spokesman said.

She added: "Anybody who has this ticket should keep it safe until they can contact us and get into the National Lottery office to make their claim".

No further details are known about the victor at this stage but the National Lottery says arrangements are being made.

In January 2017, a Dublin work syndicate claimed a £79 million EuroMillions jackpot.

Dolores McNamara, from Limerick, was Ireland's first and biggest EuroMillions victor scooping over £102 million in 2005.
