Family Members Found Dead in New York Home, Police Say

TROY, N.Y. City police are investigating possible homicides after the discovery of four dead bodies in the Lansingburgh neighborhood.

The four bodies were found inside a home at 158 Second Ave. on Tuesday, Troy Police Sgt. Mark Maloy confirmed to TIME.

Police say no more information is immediately available.

A call to a phone in one of the home's apartments was answered by someone who declined to comment.

Officers cordoned off the area around the Troy home, a white house with a bay window in the front and rows of windows, according to The Associated Press.

Troy Police asked for the assistance of New York State Police, which has released few details as of 3:20 p.m.

DeWolf tells Albany Times Union the manager of the property was among the dead.

Investigators are still processing the scene and have not said if they know any causes of death.
