More on Dean Ambrose's Raw Injury

Dean Ambrose teamed up with Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan to take on Samoa Joe and The Bar, and the heel trio took advantage of an arm injury to Ambrose to pin Rollins and obtain the victory.

The statement said: "Dean Ambrose sustained an injury to his right arm during Raw's Six-Man Tag Team Match, and the damage was exacerbated when his opponents, Samoa Joe and Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus, assaulted The Lunatic Fringe in the trainer's room". The Shield duo were then beaten down after the match, with Joe overturning a box onto Dean's bad arm.

PWInsider.com has been told by WWE sources that Ambrose has an elbow issue and that he will be traveling to Birmingham, Alabama tomorrow to have the issue diagnosed and dealt with. The Lunatic Fringe will need to seek another surgeon's opinon later today; however, the early word is that it may be a full-blown UCL tear (also known as a Tommy John injury in baseball).

The 32-year-old Ambrose is a true workhorse who hasn't missed an extended period of time for WWE during his tenure since getting elevated to the main roster in 2012. He has held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship and the tag titles. The Royal Rumble will take place in late January, and I can only assume Ambrose will be back in time to compete at the Rumble, perhaps furthering a storyline with Rollins.
