The hip-hop veteran has updated fans on his stance toward the head of state. From his BET Awards cypher to his countless disses in the media, it's clear that the emcee won't be referring to Trump as his president anytime soon.

"It's not so much about him hearing something I have to say, because there's nothing I'm saying about him on Revival that he doesn't already know about himself". All jokes aside, all punch lines aside, I'm trying to get a message out there about him. "I'd be there for that". Different OG. But, it ultimately served as premise to Coolio's thoughts on Eminem's aim at Trump, offering up a more morbid possibility as to how this saga may end, if it hasn't already.

"People don't want to talk about nothing these days". It's just got to take a couple of people to come out and do it. "Nobody wants to hear anything that's stimulating in thought". We commend the strides he's made in how he chooses to use his platform, and can only hope for better next time. You know how it is - you make songs, and as you make the new ones, the old ones get old and you throw them out.

"This generation, I think they ready for something".

"Trump is a little bit-he's a weirdo", Coolio began. He might do anything. "Ain't no telling. He might have Eminem killed" says the "Fantastic Voyage" rapper.

But with the exception of his continued misogyny (more on that later), Revival (*** out of four) isn't the misguided ship that many feared it would be after Em released hype track Untouchable, his well-intentioned attempt to be "woke" by taking on the perspectives of a racist white cop and African-American man (which is about as cringe-y as it sounds).
