Princess Charlotte is off to nursery in London

School authorities say they are "pleased" with the choice and anticipate inviting Charlotte to the nursery.

It has a timetable full of singing and dancing, which will suit Princess Charlotte who, according to the Duchess of Cambridge, "already loves to dance".

Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Britain's Prince William and wife Kate, is to start at a nursery school near the family home in west London early next year, her father's office said on Monday. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January'.

On the Willcocks Nursery website, it states: "The Willcocks Nursery is a traditional nursery school which strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners".

The new adventure for Charlotte will come just months before William and Kate welcome a new arrival into the family, with a new royal baby due in April.

The royal couple have also released a new family photograph of themselves and their children - which will feature on their Christmas card.

Dad Prince Wills can be seen holding George's shoulders, with the four-year-old - who started school this year - smiling happily at the camera as he holds his dad's hand in his customary shorts.

Prince William and Catherine are expecting their third child next year.

Kate is now pregnant with the couple's third child, which is expected in April.
