Dustin Hoffman Accused of Exposing Himself to Teen Girl

New allegations of sexual misconduct have surfaced against actor Dustin Hoffman, with two women accusing him of sexual assault and a third alleging that he exposed himself to her in a hotel room when she was a teenager.

The alleged incidents described to the Hollywood Reporter occurred in the 1970s and 1980s, when Hoffman was at the height of his career, starring in some of America's most iconic films and earning his two Academy Awards.

Then came an interview in Variety in which once struggling playwright Wendy Riss Gatsiounis said that Hoffman made sexually suggestive comments and propositioned her while she was pitching a film project to him in 1991.

She said she was briefly in the recording booth with the actor when he stuck his hand "down my pants" and violated her with his fingers for about 15 to 20 seconds. "Please don't call me.'" She later saw the actor at the premiere of Ishtar, she claims, but did not speak to him.

A representative for Hoffman, 80, did not immediately reply to USA TODAY.

Hoffman's attorney calls the accusations "defamatory falsehoods".

"He came out of the bathroom with a towel at first wrapped around him, which he dropped", Thomas said.

"He was standing there naked", she said. He emerged naked from the shower and allegedly asked her to massage his feet before she promptly left the room. After taking Thomas and one of his daughters out to dinner, the daughter returned to her mother's home.

The anonymous accuser had a similar story, claiming that Hoffman also assaulted her while working on Ishtar. She was wearing a skirt.

Kester said Hoffman repeatedly attempted to get in touch afterwards but she told him to stop calling her. "And the thing I feel most bad about is I didn't know what to do". He's smiling at me. I just froze in the situation like 'Oh my god, what is happening?' It's shocking when that happens to you ...

Later, the woman met the actor at his apartment, where he performed oral sex on her and they had intercourse.

According to THR, a fourth woman cited as Pauline met the actor in a NY shop in 1973 when she was 15. The effect on her lingered, though, she said.

One night, she says he asked if she wanted to meet his daughter's puppy. She then engaged in consensual sexual activity with Hoffman but says the incident in the auto was nonconsensual. Then he began to masturbate in front of her. "I think I nearly collapsed, actually", Thomas told Variety. I had never seen anything like it. I was mortified. I didn't know what to do. "There are people inches from us", the woman claimed. "If you look, you will see I am naked'".

"I was just sitting there waiting for my parents. I never told anybody - it was so embarrassing".

Earlier this month, Kathryn Rossetter, who co-starred with Hoffman in Death of a Salesman on Broadway in 1984, said he groped her nightly. She said she was invited to spend the evening with Hoffman and went to - yes - the Watergate Hotel where Hoffman was staying. "You don't think you're getting out of here without having sex, do you?"

The woman claimed that, after the auto dropped her off at her home, Hoffman gave her a $20 bill and told her to meet him at his home.

Three more women have accused Dustin Hoffman of sexual misconduct, adding to the handful of other allegations against the Oscar-winning actor.

In early November, Hoffman was accused of sexually harassing a 17-year-old intern on the set of the 1985 TV adaptation of the same Arthur Miller play. As the auto was moving, she said, Hoffman put his hand up her skirt.

"He may have been being flirtatious, but it wasn't to the point of being obscene, because my boyfriend's there".

In a contentious public discussion with HBO host John Oliver last week, the two-time Academy Award victor argued that he understood the day-to-day challenges that women face in a sexist society and that's why he chose to star in 1983's "Tootsie", playing a man who masquerades as a middle-aged woman.

That response led late-night host John Oliver to call out Hoffman during a pre-screening panel discussion about the 20th anniversary of the film "Wag the Dog" on December 4.
