3 dead in SE Indiana plane crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind-A small plane crash in rural Franklin county, north of Batesville killed 3 people and even claimed the life of one dog.

A dog aboard the plane also died.

He said it's not yet clear why the plane crashed. Another dog survived and was evaluated by a veterinarian. ISP is working with FAA and NTSB.

Investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration were expected to arrive before noon Sunday. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims' families.

Franklin County-At least one fatality confirmed as a result of the small plane crash near Oldenburg.

FAA officials later said that a Cessna 150C aircraft crashed around 2:40 p.m.in a field near the town of Castalia.

There is no word yet on any other injuries.
