Sea of Thieves, rare's multiplayer pirate adventure, finally has a release date.

Sea of Thieves is up for pre-order right now on the Microsoft store, coming in at $59.99, available for both Xbox One and Windows 10. To celebrate the announcement, a special promotional trailer was created. When your ship springs leaks, it's up to you and your crew to plug the holes.

You can pre-order the controller from in the USA or Microsoft's online store in the United Kingdom now.

Players who pre-order the game digitally will get access to the game's beta when it launches.

In addition to this reveal, Rare also announced that pre-ordering has opened and that you can purchase a sick-looking limited edition Sea of Thieves controller for $74.99.

Microsoft rocked up to The Game Awards 2017 to give us an update on Sea of Thieves, the long-awaited new game from beloved British developer, Rare. Despite launching the Xbox One X, the company has come under flak for a lack of exclusive games to justify owning an Xbox One.
