Toys for Tots Train Chugging Through Morris County This Weekend

Toys for Tots accepts new and unwrapped gifts for all ages, newborns through adults.

The United States Marine Corps Reserves, Papa Murphy's, ABC 4 Utah, Utah's CW 30 and MeTV invite you to support Toys for Tots this year.

As a working mother, I want to be sure that every child on Cape Cod has a toy for Christmas.

Toys for Tots now has drop-off boxes at different businesses and organizations in Rocky Mount, Nashville and Tarboro that can be found online at https://rocky-mount-nc.toysfortots.org.

Thanks to this year's sponsor, Papa Murphy's whose core objective is to bring all families together through food people love with a goal to create fun, convenient and fulfilling family dinners.

This year the charity met the deadline, but Toys for Tots is limiting groups to 200 toys, said Deborah Mann, executive director of the Emmanuel Center.

Steve Poremba, director of sales and marketing at Mohegan Sun Arena, estimated that at least 150 to 200 toys have been collected at the event in the past.

The volunteers are committed to collecting as many toys as possible, as they want to help hundreds of local families, but they can not do it alone.

Christmas may still be a few weeks away but the work has begun to collect toys for children in need throughout Western Washington.

"We are in the beginning phases of our toy collection".

She says the toys program is a big difference for her family.

In an effort to give back to those in need this holiday season, WCG Hotels is happy to announce their partnership with Toys for Tots for the ninth year in a row. Toys for Tots coordinator Craig Reeling.

Now in its 70th year, Silvester says that "gifts offer children recognition and a positive memory they will cherish for a lifetime" and that numerous gifts "such as books, games and sports equipment, make a significant contribution to the educational, social and physical development of these children".
