Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

So what exactly has Dwayne Johnson done to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, we hear you ask?

The Dec. 13 ceremony will honor Johnson in the motion pictures category for his status as a global box-office powerhouse.

"We envision scores of photos being taken by his star by his fans". He will star alongside Kevin Hart and Black Jack.

He now has the highly-anticipated "Jumanji" reboot on the horizon, as well as a "Fast and Furious" spin-off co-starring Jason Statham. Johnson can next be seen in the Jumanji reboot, which so far has had great reviews. His other credits include Central Intelligence, the Fast and the Furious film franchise and Moana. Next year, he'll star in Disney's "Jungle Cruise", based on the theme park ride, along with the upcoming films "Rampage" and "Skyscraper". Johnson moved onto acting and made a successful switch in genres.

He is also known as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time and has so far starred in thirty-seven movies, as well as somehow finding the time to take part in six different musical projects. Johnson regularly engages his over 175 million followers across social media as well as his YouTube Channel and was ranked #1 on Hollywood Reporter's "Top Actors" chart which ranks analytics for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus.
