Core US Treasury Bond ETF Ishares (GOVT) will be on trader's radar at the beginning of the upcoming session as the closing price ticked above the Parabolic SAR indicator (PSAR).

Taking a look at some additional technical indicators, we see that now 10+ Year Government/Credit Bond Ishares (ILTB)'s Williams Percent Range or 14 day Williams %R is resting at -10.29.

The Aroon indicator was developed by Tushar Chande in 1995. Moving averages are considered to be lagging indicators meaning that they confirm trends. On the flip side, if the indicator goes under -80, this may signal that the stock is oversold. The 14-day RSI is presently standing at 48.87, the 7-day sits at 48.87, and the 3-day is resting at 59.01. Used as a coincident indicator, the CCI reading above +100 would reflect strong price action which may signal an uptrend. Many traders keep an eye on the 30 and 70 marks on the RSI scale. The RSI was created by J. Welles Wilder who was striving to measure whether or not a stock was overbought or oversold. Currently, 20 Year Bond Ishares (TLT) has a 14-day ATR of 1.02. A reading under 20 would indicate no trend, and a reading from 20-25 would suggest that there is no clear trend signal. The Williams %R is a momentum indicator that helps measure oversold and overbought levels. The longer the bull market run, the tougher the investing decisions might be for the stock picker. ADX is used to gauge trend strength but not trend direction.

The Average Directional Index or ADX is technical analysis indicator used to describe if a market is trending or not trending. Using the CCI as a leading indicator, technical analysts may use a +100 reading as an overbought signal and a -100 reading as an oversold indicator, suggesting a trend reversal.

Shares of Universal Bond Ishares (IUSB) have a 200-day moving average of 50.43. Tushar Chanda developed the Aroon Indicator in 1995 to help traders determine the strength of a trend and whether pricing behavior was favoring a trend or sideways action.

The Williams Percent Range or Williams %R is another technical indicator worth taking a look at. Traders may use these levels to help identify stock price reversals. Currently, the 14-day ADX for Ishares 1-5Yr Laddered Corp Bond ETF (CBO.TO) is 13.85. Technical stock analysts may use a combination of different time periods in order to figure out the history of the equity and where it may be headed in the future. On the other hand, a reading of -100 would imply that the stock is oversold and possibly set for a rally. If the RSI is closer to 100, this may indicate a period of stronger momentum. The Average True Range is an investor tool used to measure stock volatility. Taking a glance at the relative strength indictor, we note that the 14-day RSI is now at 50.20, the 7-day stands at 51.75, and the 3-day is sitting at 65.19.

The 14-day ADX for Hongkong Ld Hldg ADR (HNGKY) is now at 19.12.

Another technical indicator that might serve as a powerful resource for measuring trend strength is the Average Directional Index or ADX.

A common look back period is 14 days. The Williams %R oscillates in a range from 0 to -100.

The Williams %R is created to provide a general sense of when the equity might have reached an extreme and be primed for a reversal. A value of 50-75 would signify a very strong trend, and a value of 75-100 would point to an extremely strong trend. Core US Treasury Bond ETF Ishares (GOVT) now has a 14 day Williams %R of -27.78.
