Year-Old Doesn't Mince Words In Brutal Takedown Of Santa Claus

A 6-year-old who noticed some holes in the Santa Claus story used his school-required letter to St. Nick to air some of his grievances with the jolly old elf. The result was priceless.

The boy's mother, Sarah McCammon, posted the "Dear Santa" letter on Twitter on Sunday and by Monday it was featured on Moments, which Twitter considers its most popular or relevant topics.

McCammon shared a picture of her child's brutally honest letter along with a translation of his less-than-legible handwriting. In his letter, the boy wrote that the lists of good and bad children, in fact, empty. I know your notty list if emty. You don't know the troubles Ive had in my life.

McCammon said in an interview with Reuters that the "trouble" her son says he's had in his life is just a reference to his older brother beating him at video games.

THR is reporting that Kurt Russell is set to portray Santa Claus in an as-yet-untitled Christmas movie for Netflix, where he'll star alongside Judah Lewis (The Babysitter) and Darby Camp (Big Little Lies).

"We've encouraged them to keep the truth about Santa to themselves at school", she told Reuters.

So much for "holiday cheer".
