Winter Siege Event Invades Call of Duty: WWII

This content includes a winter-themed multiplayer map, the introduction of the Gun Game mode, Winter Siege Supply Drops, and Double XP Playlists during the event. In addition to the game's boots-on-the-ground combat, Multiplayer offers a host of new mode, system and gameplay innovations across iconic map locations; while an all-new Nazi Zombies Cooperative mode unleashes a startling, new storyline and adrenaline filled experience.

Winter Carentan, a festive version of the classic map Carentan, will be available for all players throughout this seasonal event.

The Winter Siege event kicks off on Friday, Dec. 8, and Sledgehammer Games is stuffing players' stockings with tons of in-game presents.

Additionally, fan-favorite Gun Game mode will hit Call of Duty WWII next month, but only for the Winter Siege event.

Gun Game has been in previous Call of Duty titles, and it essentially pits players in a free-for-all race to get kills with different weapons in the game.

New winter gear available for Airborne, Armored, Mountain, and Infantry divisions. Most longtime Call of Duty fans will notice that the Gewehr 43 is being added to WWII.

The Winter Siege event also winterizes Headquarters, with the beach encampment taking on a seasonally appropriate appearance for the span of the event, and welcoming an all-new Quartermaster, Captain Butcher.

Winter Siege Supply Drops can be purchased with real-world money, or earned in-game by playing. Instead, players can unlock a free variant of each weapon through Special Orders from Major Howard. He brings new winter uniforms, cosmetics, and weapons.

These Winter Siege Supply Drops will also be purchasable with Call of Duty Points. Plus, log in each week to receive a free gift and learn about all the other ways to earn Winter Supply Drops.
