Johnson, who is developing a new trilogy for the studio, spoke with Mashable that while he is aware of the demand for Old Republic stories, it's not where he's likely headed. Let us reiterate: we're just talking about the live-action movies. While talking with Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy and other people from Disney, he revealed that he is interested in creating a new trilogy.

Féile Star Wars will kick off with the first screenings of The Last Jedi at Dingle's Phoenix Cinema, one of the few remaining independent cinemas in Ireland, on December 14. "Let's start fresh", he said. Many of them, such as Canto Bight, Leia: Princess of Alderaan, Empire's End: Aftermath and Phasma, contain unspecified links to the upcoming movie Episode VIII - The Last Jedi.

Thought you'd seen everything for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" already? Avid Star Wars fans can catch a 2D midnight showing of the latest instalment of the sci-fi franchise. And in the new movie, she will be trained in the ways of the Force by Luke Skywalker.

Féile-goers can also expect jedi-training for all ages, theatre group enactments and the unveiling of Ireland's first Star Wars "selfie wall". He even revealed that he does not know yet how it will be differently categorized compared to its predecessors.

He added, "To me, what's really fun is the notion of what new stuff are we gonna see, what new stories can we tell?".

With that, some reports predict that it could be the introduction of the Gray Jedi. "I don't think of people in terms of flaws", said Ridley. As Johnson was asked about this, he reportedly just answered with a "smirk".
