The Xbox 360 version of Assassin's Creed Rogue is currently backward compatible so if you don't want to wait for a possible remaster, you can experience it right now.

In celebration of the holiday season, Ubisoft is giving away two great games for free over the next two weeks.

This has confirmed that the game will only come with Assassins Creed Rogue and any other games that have been left out for porting such as Assassins Creed Liberation, are still in the wind. Released in October 2013, the sixth major instalment in the Assassin's Creed series Black Flag is well regarded and garners "very positive" reviews on Steam, for example, where it now sells for £15.99. Apparently it has been ten years "since the release of critically acclaimed real-time strategy game World in Conflict". The Assassin's Creed Origins Photo Mode contest starts tomorrow at 2pm GMT and runs until 10th January 2018 at 16:59pm GMT.

Just be sure to take advantage of the promotion while it's active, or you'll miss out on getting the game for free. The expansion Soviet Assault will be included with your free download. In the game's announcement, Ubisoft chief executive officer Yves Guillemot bragged that they have created the "boldest and most unique" installment for the video game franchise. Afterwards, you shouldn't have a hard time finding the free games, as they're carefully advertised on the front page through a big banner. The game takes you to a variety of locations like New York City, the Wild River Valley, and even up to the North Atlantic in pursuit of your targets. If you followed all instructions and downloaded the games correctly, then Black Flag and World in Conflict should remain in your Uplay account even afterwards.
