Team Parker: Anthony Joshua Fans Brainwashed, He Gets Flattened!

While Parker won't budge on a minimum split of 65-35 in favour of Joshua, Wilder is far more ambitious and wants to earn exactly the same as "AJ" for their unification bout.

"I won't be boarding a plane until we are closer", Higgins told Sky Sports in the United Kingdom on Wednesday (NZT), expressing his frustration at a lack of concession from the Joshua camp.

Wilder, the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, told ESPN that Joshua and Hearn are using the percentage as an excuse not to fight him, and added that he would walk away from any bout unless the money is split down the middle.

"It is a great fight, it is one of the biggest fights in the world and everyone wants it", Wilder said.

"His media machine tells us he's the next Lennox Lewis but he's being flattened all the time and hasn't even fought anywhere near the same standard of opposition".

Joseph Parker, holder of the WBO crown, is also waiting in the wings in a crowded heavyweight division and Wilder believes Joshua and his camp may be looking to fight the New Zealander next. "I think they are trying to seek Parker". They got him on his agenda. He is their top priority which is fine.

They have a situation where they can fight a final eliminator to be the mandatory for Joshua, or for the WBO, so they are making that decision now.

"We're not [going to] chase [anybody]".

"I'm getting hate mail from Joshua's brainwashed fans asking me how I can demand that slice of the pie for Parker".

"If Joshua doesn't unify now, then he needs to be held to account". If they want to have one fight apiece, and fight me next, that is fine, ' Wilder added. He notably stopped Carlos Takam, Joshua's most recent challenger, but the status of his upcoming fight against Hammer has not yet been confirmed by the WBA. In the rematch, then we can talk about 60-40 splits or whatever.

"On this night, on this day, in this moment, they are going to care about who is the best - officially". We have a really good relationship with World of Boxing, who are his promoters.

"All the eyes around the world will be watching".

Parker, the WBO world champion, and Higgins have begun their campaign around the apparent weakness of Joshua's chin and the lack of analysis of said vulnerability in the British media, and Wilder has had his own dig at "AJ's protectors" whom have praised him for "beating a 41-year-old man [Wladimir Klitschko] that was out for nearly two years [and] that was already dethroned". There are options but the aim is to become the undisputed world heavyweight champion.
