Amaterasu is now up on the Dota 2 Steam Workshop for you to vote on. Now she can bring you your slippers (of agility) in Dota 2. Capcom has turned everyone's favorite goddess dog thing into a courier in Dota 2. There's even a short clip that shows Amaterasu in standard and flying courier animations. As part of that re-release, dubbed Okami HD, the game's protagonist may also wind up making an appearance in Valve's very popular MOBA, Dota 2. The only way he can be added is if he has enough votes but it looks like Steam users can't get enough.

Okami's HD remaster, first released on the PS3 five years ago, is scheduled to land on Steam, the PS4, and Xbox One on December 12. "Okami HD" is the remastered version of the well-loved PlayStation 2 classic, so the timing of the poll couldn't have been more flawless. By default couriers take the form of donkeys but custom couriers have been a feature of Dota 2 for a long, long while. Coffee Stain Studios and Adult Swim Games have submitted couriers based on the goat from Goat Simulator and Mr. Meeseeks from Rick and Morty, respectively.

Couriers are in-game units that players can use to send items across the map, saving them from taking trips back to the fountain.

Unfortunately, a courier can be killed by opponents, and there's a reason why enemies would do this to a team's courier.
