Tuesday's main event was a matchup between Sammy Zayn and Randy Orton. That started a new rivalry between all parties, and it'll be the fifth time Owens and Zayn compete in a tag team match. However, Aiden English and Rusev were added to the match after defeating New Day Tuesday night.

Another match was added to the Clash of Champions pay-per-view show on December 17, 2017, and it'll feature Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn against Randy Orton and a partner of his choosing - yet to be revealed.

Rusev and Aiden English def. Unfortunately, the power of positivity was no match for English and Rusev as their teamwork of distractions and an almighty kick to the back of Kingston's head resulted in the heels getting the pin. This time, however, Owens was handcuffed to the ring to make sure he would not interfere. The Bludgeon Brothers hit their finisher and got the pin. This leads to a match at "Clash of Champions 2017".

There will be three teams in the tag title match at the pay-per-view as well, with The Usos taking on New Day and Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable. The match would feature Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode and of course defending champion Baron Corbin. The Riott Squad joined in on that action, leading to Tamina to drop a heavy hand on Sarah Logan, as the ring erupted into chaos. Orton did his best fighting off the duo, scoring a victory over Zayn. Shinsuke Nakamura arrived to even the odds however, leading to Owens and Zayn feeling the full effect of a Kinshasa and an RKO. Though in the aftermath of the fight Owens and Zayn were out to get their revenge. At the end of the show, McMahon decided that he will be the guest referee and if Owens and Zayn lose, they'll be fired from WWE.
