Further, the whole hullabaloo over Shashi Tharoor's tweet and Manushi Chhillar's witty reply to it has only made her all the more dear to us.

Khattar praised Manushi for bringing laurels to the country and said her answer to the last question that helped her bag the title reflected her thoughts and mindset. One of them is another beauty pageant victor, Anisha Safaya.

Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha has congratulated Haryana girl Manushi Chhillar, who has won the Miss World 2017 title. "I felt big responsibilities apply for Manushi, as I know what it takes to be there and it's not easy, it requires enormous dedication, discipline, determination and most importantly it requires 100 percent of you".

Looking at the journey of Manushi Chillar from a studious medical student in Haryana to becoming Miss World, it's evident that the young girl has gone through tremendous transformation to culminate herself as a global personality. Indeed there is a curiosity surrounding pageant winners that what path will they follow and I believe that is an individual's preference.

The 20-year-old from Haryana, who is a medical student, edged out top five contestants from England, France, Kenya and Mexico.

However, just for comparison, if each task performed by a housewife were monetised, she would earn more than Rs 135,000 per month, which could go up depending on the number of children or family members she has to look after. Manushi now has a big platform to work for the causes close to her & affect real change in the community.

At that time, the CM would try to know her area of interest.
