Five apprehended in shootout with Delhi and Punjab police at Dwarka

Five people were apprehended on Tuesday in a shootout between some miscreants and local and Punjab police (Mohali Team) in Delhi.

As per last reports coming in on the incident, the police recovered a large cache of arms; 12 pistol and 100 bullets.

No injuries have been reported so far in the shootout. After getting the inputs police team reached the spot and started inquiries. Almost 30 rounds of shots were fired.

Metro train halt at the Dwarka Mor metro station was suspended temporarily because of the ongoing encounter.

No one was injured in the firing even though the shootout happened in a residential area, said DCP (southwest) Shibesh Singh.

Sources said the suspects were involved in several crimes including carjacking.
