Eminem made his grand return on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

Accompanied by an orchestra, the rapper kicked off the nine-minute performance with "Walk on Water", his new track which was recorded with Beyoncé. The Detroit MC served as tonight's musical guest alongside host Chance the Rapper; so you already know hip-hop fans were tuning in. Once again, Grey handled the vocals, usually sung by Dido and Rihanna respectively, while Em delivered lyrics in his signature attack-dog style. The rap superstar performed his new single "Walk on Water" as well as a couple of his chart-topping hits.

While the show's musical guests traditionally perform twice during the program, Eminem and Grey only appeared on stage once.

"Walk on Water", Em's first single from his upcoming "Revival" album, dropped November 10 and moved into the No.1 position on iTunes hip-hop chart later that same day and into the top 10 in "songs in every category", as well.

The pair aren't strangers to one another's work, and have in the past collaborated on a number of songs such as 2011 single "I Need A Doctor" with Dr. Dre, 2013 track "A-hole" and most-recent hit "Kill For You", from Skylar's 2016 album.

For his initial showing tonight, Shady combined forces with regular collaborator Skylar Grey for "Walk on Water".
