'I'm an advocate for women' - Ryan Seacrest denies 'reckless' misconduct claims

Seacrest's apparent behavior comes on the heels of a string of high-profile men in Hollywood that have received public scrutiny for sexual harassment or sexual assault.

The cable channel E! that Ryan was a part of is now holding internal investigations in the wake of recent sexual misconduct cases. On Friday, Seacrest made an official statement disputing the accusation.

He has also starred in a few films as himself, as well as executive producing multiple reality programs via his company Ryan Seacrest Productions, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.

In his statement, the American Idol host went on to stress that he tried to ensure women felt comfortable in the workplace.

In a statement, the "American Idol" host said if he made the stylist feel anything but respected, he is truly sorry.

Still, he denies any wrongdoing, saying, "I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to coordinate with any corporate inquiries that may result".

According to the Daily Mail, Ryan's former former stylist has claimed that he behaved inappropriately with her over 10 years ago.
