The company will fix the seats free of charge for owners of 2011-2017 models, it said in a statement Saturday.

The company said the affected minivans, which include model years 2011 to 2017, have second-row seats that can tip forward if they are not properly latched.

"Honda is now investigating the appropriate repairs to help ensure proper latching and will notify owners when that free fix is available", Honda said in a statement.

Honda is offering instructions on its website on how to correctly latch the seats to correct the safety issue. The fix will be done free of charge.

If you're the owner of a Honda Odyssey mini-van listen up, Honda is recalling hundreds of thousands of its Odysseys due to a problem with the second row seat. Customers can call Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 for additional information.
