Five more bullet-riddled bodies recovered in Turbat

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has taken suo motu notice of the killing of 20 people in Balochistan's Turbat.

Five bullet-riddled bodies were found in Turbat's Tajaban area in Balochistan on Saturday morning, Levies sources said.

As per reports, the bodies were shifted to a morgue in Sohrab Goth from where they have been sent to Jinnah International Airport. They are required to inform the apex court about the steps they have taken to prevent such incidents in future.

The incident comes days after 15 bullet-riddled bodies were found near the same area.

The mountainous region of Buleda is 600 kilometres south of Quetta. The victims were trying to illegally cross the Iranian border to reach Gulf countries when they were kidnapped by unidentified men near Buleda valley in Kech District and killed. Militants in the area have repeatedly attacked labourers, security forces and pro-government politicians in the area.

On November 17, five more bodies were found in the same tehsil, Turbat, albeit at the distance from the previous spot.
