LeBron James thinks that Deshaun Watson should be a Brown

Even Lebron James couldn't believe the Browns and other teams didn't draft Watson when they had the golden opportunity. In the process, he also had some thoughts on the Cleveland Browns and their quarterback situation. Despite James stating that Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson should be under center in Cleveland, Kizer had a pretty simple response to such criticism.

"I think Deshaun Watson should be a Brown", Lebron James said in a recent interview. "That doesn't mean that Myles Garrett is not going to be a great football player". Doesn't mean you're [ripping] on the next guy. Sure, you would prefer the best athlete on the planet not say that another player should be the quarterback instead of you. The Browns took out of Notre Dame with the 52nd overall selection as the fourth quarterback selected in the draft behind Mitchell Trubisky, Patrick Mahomes and Watson. After making the no-brainer pick in Myles Garrett, they made a decision to trade that No. 12 pick to Houston, which ultimately drafted Watson, who balled out this season until he tore his ACL in practice.

In an attempt to clear up comments made Saturday regarding National Basketball Association rookie point guards, LeBron James stepped into the NFL arena and brought the lowly Browns into the conversation. Kizer (0-8) has started eight games this season and he still has fewer wins than Manziel, who went 2-6 during his eight starts in his short Cleveland career.

However, it appears as though Browns head coach Hue Jackson still hasn't lost faith in Kizer.

The ugly part for the Browns - and something that James didn't mention - is that they actually could have had both Garrett AND Watson.
