Coyotes ship Louis Domingue to Lightning

The Arizona Coyotes have traded goalie Louis Domingue to the Tampa Bay Lightning for forward Tye McGinn and goalie Michael Leighton.

The 25-year-old Domingue has appeared in seven games with the Coyotes this season, recording a 4.33 goals-against average and.856 save percentage.

Leighton has appeared in 110 National Hockey League games with four teams, going 37-43-14 with a 2.98 goals-against average. In addition to the Blackhawks, Leighton had appeared with the Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes. In 110 career games and 53 starts, Leighton has a 2.98 goals against average and an even.900 save percentage. He hasn't played in the National Hockey League since 2015-16 when he skated in two games with the Lightning.

Domingue was originally selected by the Coyotes in the fifth round, 138th overall, at the 2010 NHL Draft.

Hailing from Fergus, Ont., McGinn is a veteran of 89 National Hockey League games over four National Hockey League seasons with the Coyotes, Flyers, San Jose Sharks and Lightning.
