One set, which was a handsome house was constructed for blockbuster Telugu movie Manam, featuring three generations of the Akkineni family.

A massive fire at Annapurna Studios erupted on the sets of "Manam" sending out plumes of black smoke into the air on Monday evening.

The sets of Manam, the 2014 film starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha as well as actor Chiranjeevi's upcoming Sye Raa were totally gutted in the fire, according to Sakshi Post.

A major fire has permanently wiped out the memories of ANR's last film "Manam" if we have to say. The movie also features megastar Amitabh Bachchan. At the same time Akkineni Nagarjuna has requested others to not come into the studios this time. The officials are trying the best to put off the fire. Due to the heavy traffic, the fire tenders arrived late and the staff members had to barricade the studio to prevent people from entering. This fire was mainly due to the electrical short circuit which was occurred while arranging the electrical cables. The set was empty when the incident happened.
