X Factor 2017 thrown into chaos as Nicole Scherzinger gets emergency treatment

Hooray for Judges' Houses, generally the best bit of X Factor, with all that false jeopardy and false intimacy and, well, false houses actually (spoiler alert: Nicole Scherzinger doesn't actually live on a South African safari trail).

Her selection came as shock to the 20-year-old after her own song, More Than You, was interrupted by her mentor, which led to the singer breaking down in tears.

At the time, Nicole was working with Stormzy to help whittle six acts down to use three.

A source told The Sun: "Nicole had a lot of pain in her throat, and that was very worrying for her as a singer".

Talia is in big trouble with X Factor bosses.

'It was very frightening, especially as she was thousands of miles from home. Luckily, she returned to the hotel to finish her scenes that day.

The airport worker wept as she learned of Nicole's decision - with the Pussycat Doll telling her that she just didn't think she was ready for the live shows, following her emotional performance of Culture Club's 80s chart-topper Do You Really Want To Hurt Me.

Meanwhile, Nicole has yet to sign up for "The X Factor" next year and hinted that she may focus on her music instead.

"It's because I'm a singer first".

In a video that she filmed on her phone, Talia reportedly leaked who Nicole eliminated and who made it to the live shows in her Overs category.

But, of course, only three could go through, and after much deliberating, Nicole and Stormzy put through Matt, Tracey and Kevin.

Talia Dean, Berget Lewis and Slavko unfortunately had to say their goodbyes and were all sent home.

The X Factor continues Saturday and Sunday on ITV this weekend with live shows set to take place next weekend.
