Several wounded in stabbing spree - Munich police

A man stabbed several people with a knife in the German city of Munich on Saturday, police said on Twitter.

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

They described the man as about 40, wearing a green jacket and grey pants, with a black bike, and carrying a backpack and a sleeping mat. The suspect is also carrying a backpack, according to a police tweet.

The attack happened near the Rosenheimer station this morning with police urging residents to remain in their homes while the manhunt continues.

The perpetrator appeared to be about 40 years old and had a black bicycle, grey pants, a green jacket and a backpack. People reported hearing police sirens in various parts of the city. We will report further, once we have secured information'.
