Wagner said: "Steve Mounie will be back in the squad, he trained all week without any issues".

United have had a strong start to the season with six wins in eight league games. Thus, United definitely have an upper-hand going into the game.

Jose Mourinho's side are yet to lose in any competition so far this season, only dropping points with draws on the road against Stoke City and most recently Liverpool.

The Red Devils are now second in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after eight games of the new campaign.

Ahead of the visit of Manchester United, Wagner has acknowledged that there may be hard moments in their campaign, but the German backed his players to come through them providing that they show the correct attitude. It was not the toughest of assignments, but it has given Mourinho limited time to prepare his team for the trip to the John Smith's Stadium.

The 12th-place Terriers remain without Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer (hamstring) and centre-back Michael Hefele (achilles), while it is unclear exactly when long-term absentee Jon Gorenc Stankovic might able to return from anterior cruciate ligament damage suffered while on global duty with the Slovenian Under-21 team back in March.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the long-term absentee, but the Swede returned to training earlier this week, and is targeting a return in December, a month ahead of schedule. Fellaini, too, is yet to recover from an injury.

There are concerns around the fitness of Eric Bailly (groin) and Michael Carrick (calf), with Mourinho unable to provide a set return date for the duo.

Meanwhile, there are additional concerns on the team news front, with reports claiming that Henrikh Mkhitaryan isn't a part of the travelling squad.

Marcus Rashford has been deemed fit. This means Mourinho once again will have to field Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera in central midfield.

This will be the first meeting between these sides since the 1971/72 top-flight season, with Manchester United winning both games that season.

What time does the match start at?

Matic knows the Premier League well, and he played a vital role in helping Chelsea to win the title under Jose Mourinho back in the 2014-15 campaign. If they manage a shut out on Saturday, the Red Devils will become the first-ever top flight side to keep eight clean sheets in their first nine games of a season.

Huddersfield head coach David Wagner believes Saturday's home game against Manchester United serves as an ideal reminder that this is an extraordinary time in the club's history.
