The company which holds the tender of launching Nokia branded smartphones, unveiled Nokia 6 earlier this year in China, which was infact the first device to be announced by HMD Global. The display also has a 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass on top.

The latest addition to the Nokia's Android smartphone portfolio packs an f/1.8 aperture lens and comes with "bothie" camera mode, which made its debut on the flagship Nokia 8 (Review).

You can also take shots using the front and rear cameras at the same time via the "bothie" setting but actually positioning the device to get a good shot from both sides is hard and led to most attempts on a recent holiday being discarded. This smartphone has been introduced in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants. At the front, there's a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and it also supports positive and negative dual vision shooting. The company has launched the new Nokia 7 smartphone in China only. The base variant of this smartphone is worth 2,499 yuan (about 24,600 rupees). And it seems Nokia is good at keeping up with their promise as the device is receiving security updates since its availability. Nokia even promised Android Oreo update and security updates for the device. Where there may be more potential though is for video capture or blogging where the included OZO Audio technology means you can record sound from multiple directions with generally good quality provided it isn't too windy.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 smartphone.

Under the hood, this smartphone is powered by a new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor built with the 14nm technology and clocked at 1.8GHz.

Nokia's 5.2-inch full HD IPS display is given in Nokia 7. The handset offers either 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The dual-13MP lens rear shooter marks the rekindling of an old partnership between Nokia and Carl Zeiss and comes with a number of interesting abilities including settings to shoot with both lenses at the same time or individually in RGB or monochrome. Connectivity options of the phone include 3G/4G, WiFi, USB Type-C port, NFC connectivity. It comes with the usual assortment of connectivity features. It measures 141.2×71.4×7.9mm.
