When asked about rumors concerning their relationship as being the reason for the show's end, Chip Gaines said, "For us, the most important thing in the world is Jo and I's relationship followed very quickly by these four handsome kids". "So we wanted to take a step back and focus on what is absolutely the most important thing to us".

"The products were designed for everyday life and inspired by the moments in life that bring people together, so our hope is that these products help families do just that", Joanna Gaines said in a statement.

The "Fixer Upper" stars announced in late September that their hit HGTV show is ending after season 5. "I feel like I have outgrown the partnership". "They've come alongside with us", Joanna said. "On the other side, there's so much encouragement. That was just a big rumor", she stated. "We have this young, growing family and I just think that was one of the biggest reasons why we wanted to end the show". "For me, I've always thought I'd rather be missed than somebody get exhausted of us". But Chip thinks that it's the ideal time to move on.

"I'm so sick of these "stories" claiming @joannagaines and @chippergaines breaking up".

Chip responded minutes later, saying: "Won't ever can take that to the bank!"

"We are really, really proud of season five", said Chip Gaines in a news release. "At times, it's even hard to keep our own parents in the loop".

"Our family is healthy and our marriage has honestly never been stronger", the pair said.
