Check out the I, Tonya teaser below! The truth that many people probably don't even know. I, Tonya wants to remind you she's also a person. "But they want someone to hate", Robbie says over a reenactment of Harding doing a a triple axel at the 1991 World Figure Skating Championships.

Then the teaser takes one final turn: Robbie's voiceover talks about "haters" hounding her to tell the truth, but she insists "There's no such thing as truth, I mean it's bulls-t". In its own way, the trailer seems to be covering its own ass by claiming that the truth is bullshit anyway.

Tonya later pled guilty to her involvement in the incident - though, in the 2014 ESPN documentary "The Price of Gold", she said she had nothing to do with the planning of the hit.

Harding was the "trailer trash" girl who overcame every obstacle in her life from extreme poverty to abusive parents to become the U.S. figure skating champion. Harding's reputation and career went off the cliff after she was accused of being involved in a freaky plot with her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly and bodyguard Shawn Eckhardt, to injure her top rival Nancy Kerrigan and force her to withdraw from the 1994 Winter Olympics. Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) co-stars as Harding's husband Jeff Gillooly.

Such a juicy public feud with Kerrigan and a dramatic sports arc make great fodder for a biopic, and Craig Gillespie's I, Tonya already has a lot of buzz after its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
